Early notice of the Warley National Model Railway Exhibition, 2013 at the NEC, Birmingham. The posters and fliers were delivered to Chasewater Railway in some style on Sunday 18th August, when a party of members of the Warley Model Railway Club called in on a coach trip in a very special charabanc:
TR 6147 – This number was originally issued in 1929 to a Leyland Lion single deck bus. This vehicle was scrapped in 1943. In 1982, the company which first owned the bus built a replica charabanc body on a 1974 Bristol LH single deck chassis and this number was re-issued to give the vehicle an authentic touch.
