Trampolining sessions for adults are launching at Burntwood Leisure Centre with a free introductory class this November.
Adults are invited to try out trampolining with a free taster session that’s running at Burntwood Leisure Centre on Friday 21 November from 6.45pm to 7.45pm.
The session will be followed by weekly classes until the end of the year, and are ideal for anyone who wants to try something new, while keeping fit and having fun. Participants will also have the opportunity to work their way through the British Gymnastic Trampoline awards scheme.
Councillor Andy Smith, Lichfield District Councillor’s Cabinet Member for Leisure & Parks, said: “After getting a number of requests from leisure centre users, we’re pleased to be offering adult trampolining sessions at Burntwood Leisure Centre. It will be a great opportunity to stay active, meet new people and learn a new skill.”
Classes following the introductory free taster on Friday 21 November will take place on Fridays until the end of the year from 6.45pm to 7.45pm and will cost £4 each. If the sessions prove popular a full 12 week course will begin in the new year.
There’s no need to book, simply turn up at Burntwood Leisure Centre and have a go!
