Russell Newbery Register Ltd. annual rally
Russell Newbery Rally at the National Waterways Museum, Ellesmere Port
13 – 15 Jun 2014
10:00 am – 4:00 pm
The rally provides an additional spectacle for the museum since visitors will be able to see a range of visiting boats, and particularly their engines with most running at some time through the day.
Russell Newbery was founded in Altrincham in 1909 by Frederick Russell and William Newbery following their apprenticeships at the factory of one Frederick Henry Royce at Trafford Park. Mr Royce was to become a partner with the Hon. Charles Stewart Rolls and the rest of that story needs no telling here!
