Beacon Park Fun Day & Teddy Bear Games
Lichfield District Council is inviting all families to come to the Beacon Park Fun Day on Wednesday 14 August 2013, between 11am and 3pm.
There will be lots on offer throughout the day, including a barefoot walk, circus skills, rides, outdoor games, sports, a bear hunt trail, inflatables, stalls, dance demonstrations, workshops and more.
In amongst all the fun, will be the Teddy Bear Games where children can bring their teddies and enter the races, including The Teddy Sprint, and the Ted on the Head Race. There will also be the opportunity to meet the furriest member of the parks team – Ranger Ted!
Councillor Val Richards, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure, Communications, and Tourism, said: “Each year hundreds of people come to Beacon Park’s Fun Day to enjoy all the activities on offer. We hope the weather will be fine and that lots of families join us for a day in the great outdoors. And a reminder to children – don’t forget to bring your teddy so you can join in the Teddy Bear Games.”
Entry to Beacon Park Fun Day is free, but there will be a small charge for some of the activities.
