Engineering Works Update – January/February

Track work

Chasewater Railway is undertaking a major permanent way project during the next two months. The track section from Willow Vale to Silver Birch crossing is undergoing major refurbishment and as such there will be no train service (as is usual) in January and then limited service running throughout February. This may require alterations at short notice as these works depend on weather conditions that we encounter in the coming weeks. Updates will appear on this website and on our Facebook page (pictures of the works can be found there too) as soon as possible. Apologies for any inconvenience these essential engineering works may cause.

Weather permitting we also intend to operate the miners style narrow gauge line on Sunday throughout February. It will be in operation between 11 am – 2.30 pm.

THE SIDINGS tea rooms at Brownhills West will be open as normal throughout this period.

The Museum will also be open on Sundays from 11.00am till 3.30pm
