Easter in the Museum

Easter in the Museum

Very mixed weather to start with – I took the train from Chasewater Heaths to Brownhills West and back and did get a little damp.  It did pick up later on Sunday morning though it did stay cold.

On Friday and Saturday we had fewer than 100 visitors to the Museum altogether, but on Sunday and Monday we totalled well over 600.  We were very pleased with our visitor numbers and would like to thank those members responsible in making access through the Heritage Centre to the Museum much easier than it has been of late.  We would also like to thank members who helped out during the weekend, either by staying in the Museum so that we could take a quick break or by putting out and collecting the Museum signs at the start and especially at the end of the day.

Roll on the next holiday – May Day Bank Holiday, 1st, 2nd and 3rd of May.
