Webring
Could you alter the web link to Rudyard Lake Steam Railway on your blog as our website has changed and the link will not work soon.
The new site is http://www.rlsr.org
I would be happy to put in reciprocal links to the blog and your main webpages.
I found the site very interesting as i used to have a few industrial steam engines includeing Ken Boazman which i think you have used the boiler elswhere.
Hi Mike,
I have changed the link to Rudyard Lake Steam Railway and would be very happy to have reciprocal links.
My blog is http://www.chasewaterstuff.wordpress.com and the main railway site is http://www.chaserail.com
Many thanks,
John.
I am writing a book on Kingsnorth Airship Station. The railway used an Andrew Barclay 040 saddletank engine called Lord Fisher, very similar to the one you have at Chasewater (it is now preserved at the East Somerset Railway). I have been unable to find any contemporary pictures of this engine and most pictures are of the engine ststionary and posed with no rolling stock. The nearest image I have found to what I am looking for is on your website. Would you give permission for it’s use or put me in touch with the photographer. All illustrations used will be fully credited along with links to relevent websites.
How about a link “getting to the museum” on your front page
How do I get there? public transport etc.. Surely this should be a clickable link on your front page? Best wishes, Geoff
Hi Geoff, I take your point and although this is not a ‘Chasewater Railway’ site as such, as you can tell by some of the canal and other content, I have put the information about finding the Railway on the front page as you suggested.
Cheers, John CWS
